The Golden Hornet project comprises 4,959 hectares covering a known intrusion related gold vein system. The mineralized system is controlled by a series of sheeted and stockwork quartz veins hosted within a Jurassic intrusive complex and is associated with a large hornfels contact envelope.
-
Previous work on the Golden Hornet zone returned trench sample intercepts of 21.1 g/t gold over 5.1 metres and 4.17 g/t gold over 14 metres
-
Talisker collected 2,700 soil samples in 2020 that define a robust 2.8 km x 1.3 km multi-line, multi-station gold anomaly
-
In 2021, a total of 4,853 metres of NQ drilling was completed in 14 holes, intersecting semi-massive and breccia-hosted sulphide mineralization in every hole
-
The 2021 drill program discovered high-grade fault-controlled quartz-sulphide breccias and veins, highlighted by 8.88 g/t Au, 0.42% Cu and 14.99 g/t Ag over 5.1 metres within a broader zone of 2.59 g/t Au over 21.5 metres
